Dr.
Sameen Chatoo, O.D.
Dr. Chatoo graduated in 1987 from the school
of Optometry, University of Waterloo. She continued to Pennsyvania
College of Optometry
to complete a residency. Returning to Toronto in 1988, she
worked part time in a busy downtown group practice and simultaneously
taught part time at the school of Optometry. She is a fellow
of the  American Academy of Optometry and has completed extensive
courses in therapeutic management of eye disease and laser
vision correction. Although the practice looks after the
visual needs of patients from 5 months to 97 years, Dr. Chatoo
has
an especially keen interest in pediatrics and specialty contact
lens fitting. She is married with two girls and enjoys old
movies, gardening and collecting antique eyeglasses in her
spare time.
Dr. Morrie Sher, O.D.
Dr. Sher
was born and raised in North York. He studied sciences at the University of Toronto then was accepted into the school of Optometry in Waterloo, Ontario. He received his doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 1985. As well as being licensed in Ontario, he has held licenses in Alberta, British Columbia, Australia and South Africa. He worked at the University of Melbourne school of Optometry as a clinical supervisor in 1987. He has been working in the GTA since 1988.
He has extensive experience with all age groups and has an avid interest in contact lenses, laser vision correction co management and low vision.
He actively pursues outdoor activities such as skiing and mountain biking.
Dr. Sher speaks Spanish, Hebrew and French.
He is married with two children.
Linda is our frame and lens specialist and has over twenty years of
experience in the optical industry.
She ensures that the Optical dispensary is displayed with the latest trends
and styles. She advises our patients on the newest technology in
lenses, including no line bifocals, tints, coatings and UV protection
options. She our resident eyeglass expert. |
Pina is acutely aware of the need
for comprehensive eyecare as she has a daughter that
has required very specialized eye treatment from a very
young age due to a congenital condition. When relaxing,
she likes to read and enjoys spending time with her family. |
Kiran is the friendly voice of our practice reminding
patients that their next eye exam is due. She also informs
our patients of any special seminars or work shops. Whether you call to book an appointment or to find out information about our office, she is always courteous and helpful. Kiran is the voice of our office.
